Teen Patti Card Values: Ace High, Ace Low and Card Order
Quick answer: In Teen Patti, cards rank from highest to lowest: A, K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2. The ace is normally high, but it can also be low in the A-2-3 sequence. Suits have no value in standard play. Point values only matter in special variants such as 999, where cards are added up.
Card order
| Rank | Card |
|---|---|
| Highest | Ace (A) |
| King (K) | |
| Queen (Q) | |
| Jack (J) | |
| 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 | |
| Lowest | 2 |
When the ace is low
The ace counts low only to form the run A-2-3. It cannot wrap around, so K-A-2 is not a run. In high-card comparisons the ace is always the highest card. See the sequence list for where A-2-3 sits.
Suits
Spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs are equal in standard play. A few tables use a suit order only to break exact ties; see tie rules.
Point values in variants
| Variant | Typical values |
|---|---|
| 999 | Number cards at face value, often ace as 1 and picture cards as 0; check the table |
| Muflis | Normal order, but the lowest hand wins |
| Joker variants | A wild card takes whatever value makes the best hand |
