AK47 Teen Patti: Rules for Aces, Kings, Fours and Sevens Wild

Quick answer: AK47 is a Teen Patti variation in which every Ace, King, Four and Seven is a wild card. That puts sixteen wild cards in the deck, so about two-thirds of all hands (67.7%) contain at least one. Trails and sequences become routine, and a plain pair is a weak hand.

The wild cards

Rank Cards Wild?
Ace (A) 4 Yes
King (K) 4 Yes
Four (4) 4 Yes
Seven (7) 4 Yes
All others 36 No

Our odds calculation

  • Chance of no wild card: 7,140 of 22,100 hands, about 32.3%.
  • Chance of at least one wild card: about 67.7%.
  • Two wild cards make any hand a trail at minimum.

Building hands

  • One wild + a pair = trail.
  • One wild + two cards within two ranks = at least a sequence; pure if same suit.
  • Two wilds + anything = trail of that card (or A-A-A if the remaining card is also wild).
  • Three wilds = usually A-A-A.

Rule differences

Some tables rank a natural trail above a wild-made trail. Others let the wild cards’ natural value count as well; for example, an ace used as itself. Agree first, using the house rules checklist.

Strategy

Because most hands contain a wild card, average hands are much stronger. Treat a sequence as medium and a pair as weak. A natural trail or pure sequence remains strong.
