Teen Patti Card Values: Ace High, Ace Low and Card Order

Quick answer: In Teen Patti, cards rank from highest to lowest: A, K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2. The ace is normally high, but it can also be low in the A-2-3 sequence. Suits have no value in standard play. Point values only matter in special variants such as 999, where cards are added up.

Card order

Rank Card
Highest Ace (A)
King (K)
Queen (Q)
Jack (J)
10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3
Lowest 2

When the ace is low

The ace counts low only to form the run A-2-3. It cannot wrap around, so K-A-2 is not a run. In high-card comparisons the ace is always the highest card. See the sequence list for where A-2-3 sits.

Suits

Spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs are equal in standard play. A few tables use a suit order only to break exact ties; see tie rules.

Point values in variants

Variant Typical values
999 Number cards at face value, often ace as 1 and picture cards as 0; check the table
Muflis Normal order, but the lowest hand wins
Joker variants A wild card takes whatever value makes the best hand
